Today was a great day! Just one of those days that make you sit back and enjoy all the little pleasures in life. A great for recognizing ones blessings! My husband has officially been home for one whole week...YEAH! I sure miss him when he is gone. The bad news, he's leaving again tomorrow. But we put sod in today, and that makes me HAPPY! For any of you that know what a chore building our home has been, you understand my joy over a little patch of grass. I officially have landscaping.
Ronnie has dedicate his summer so far to catching toads, frogs, and lizards. He is all boy. He catches atleast 2 toads every day and it takes a fair amount of convincing to get him to let them go every night, he is adament that he keep them as pets. We tried to explain that they need to be free to catch food or they would have to go to heaven, so, like a true child, innocent and sweet, in his toad bucket I found vanilla wafers and sun-dried tomato crackers. Gotta love kids!
He also lost his first tooth! Which, incidently was knocked loose when he was punched in the mouth at school by a little boy that didn't want to sit by him. We were on our way home from school on Friday, when all the sudden in the back seat I hear, "Oh, I pulled my tooth out!" Sure enough, there was a gaping hole where a tooth used to be. Now the only question on our minds...is the tooth fairy a boy or girl?

Ryland, still growing like a weed and getting into all sorts of things...had his first taste of dirt today...and he seemed to quite like it. Of course, seeing that Ryland was getting all sorts of attention, Ronnie decided he needed to eat dirt, and while the look on his face told quite a different story, he was insistant that he really likes dirt.

So funny! Gotta love those boys. Thanks for the laughs. As usual, your pictures are adorable. Enjoy the grass!
Yay! You have a blog! Good job. I was a little nervous about starting one too, but it gets easier and more fun with practice. I'm excited to get more frequent updates on your family. Congratulations on the sealing too, I wish I could have been there. We miss a lot being out here though, I know you understand how it is. Love you guys!
